Fantastic! I don't need batteries anymore. I just plug it in my cigarette lighter in the car, turn the power on through the ignition and turn on the telescope. Now I only bring batteries as a back up power source. The cord has enough length tso you can be a good distance away from the vehicle.

If you don't have it yet, please get it! You won't be disappointed.

Performs as it should. No issues with connecting to my Celestron C8 XLT Advanced. Use an automotive "quick start" battery pack for power.

I'm basically just going to repeat my review that I gave to the AC adapter. That's because I feel owning both the 12 volt and the AC adapter are both must-own's.

It may seem obvious, but a 12 volt adapter is a must-have item.
Batteries are far too expensive...especially how often you need to replace them in a GoTo scope.
If for no other reason, it's a good reason to do a small part to help the environment...no more batteries in the landfill.

Purchase the 12 volt car adapter for the nights you go mobile, the AC adapter for the nights at home, and you're covered for at home, and away.

Owning both means never buying another battery for your scope. And at 8 batteries, it won't take long to pay for itself.
