Celestron's Ultima 100ED spotting scope offers sharp, bright images, and gives superb performance in low-light conditions when wildlife is moving. Its light-gathering ability is some 38 percent greater than that of our 80mm ED model.
The Ultima 100ED is a high-performance wonder. It features cutting-edge optics with extra-low-dispersion (ED) glass that provides excellent color correction and images sharp enough to shave with. ED glass also virtually eliminates the chromatic aberration usually seen during planetary and lunar viewing. And that makes the 100ED spotter a real winner, day or night. Approximate scope length with the eyepiece is 21.5 inches.
