      This was purchased as a replacement spotter for target shooting at my 100 yard range. The old scope was getting a little foggy. I can't believe the price--the case alone would cost the price of the entire kit. Those that have looked through it cannot believe the clarity and brightness. It might be a bit lightweight for heavy wind conditions, and I don't think it would withstand being dropped, but how many spotters would?
      Great buy.

        I bought this Barska on sale and figured you get what you pay for. I only wanted it to see some birds from a distance for my field ecology class. I was surprised the minute it showed up. It was well packed with a hard metal case and a carry bag inside the case. It is waterproof and camo which also help since alot of my bird watching is by the lakes. I was very pleased because after looking at the more expensive spotting scopes I chose this one for price... and I am not unhappy at all. I have suggested it to all bird watchers I know.
