Comments about Yukon FireFall 15-45x60 Spotting Scope Package:
60 yr old hunter, gun enthusiast. 1st spotting scope purchase, NOT 1st used. Tried to be dilligent and do proper product research putting price as my 2nd requirement. I knew my choices in the range I was willing to spend, my choices would be limited. Found the Yukon line with approx 50/50 mix of reviews. IMHO most people buying a unit like this probably give a lesser review due to not knowing what to expect or how to use. overall, scope is compact, focuses easily, as others, I feel tripod could be more substantial. Feel that the unit if handled properly will give many years of quality use.
Service and delivery comments:
Upon delivery which took 1 wk from Tx to Pa., shipping box was NOT damaged, nor inner box. However, upon opening inner box, found metal edging of hard case end where halves meet was dented inward. Inner partition of case was badly warped and damaged on end and eyepiece cover had gouge on end. Scope & other items undamaged. Found customer service responsive & friendly. They were going to send complete new unit. Chose to call Yukon directly and have them ship out only needed parts. They too seemed agreeable. Have used this scope only once, works very well. still waiting on replacement case, partition & eyepiece cover. Will update after arrival.

Comments about Yukon FireFall 15-45x60 Spotting Scope Package:
60 Yr old gun enthusiast/hunter. Searched/found the Yukon Firefall 15/45/60 scope with mixed reviews. IMHO, most of the lesser reviews were due to customer purchasing wrong type of scope for purpose, or mishandling, or not reading/understanding instructions. Upon unpacking, the shipping carton was NOT damaged but found hard case and inner contents had taken a jolt which left the outer case damaged as well as 2 minor accessories. However the scope seems to work extremely well, focuses easily and is lighweight. ( Carrying way too much weight to the range at times) Found customer service department easy to deal with and they responded well and are sending new hard case, partition, and eye piece cover. Will write second review after recieving new parts. Now, I've got an excuse to go to the range this weekend!!! Very nice product for price paid. Would recommend more substantial outer cardboard packaging/cushioning to prevent damage.

Comments about Yukon FireFall 15-45x60 Spotting Scope Package:
For the money invested, its a great scope. From the shooting bench I'm able to see my shots out to 200yards easily. We use it from the Lanai to watch Bald Eagles. I'm looking to buy a better Tripod though. The one in the box is too shaky.

Comments about Yukon FireFall 15-45x60 Spotting Scope Package:
This scope is quite good all around and an excellent value for the money. You would need to spend significantly more to get a really noticeable increase in performance. I like it best at low to medium zooms - performance drops off a little bit at the highest setting (also the tripod's good for low to medium levels but is a little bit shaky at the highest settings). I also like that it's water & fog proof and is easily portable.
