Multi-coated lenses and BaK-4 Prisms - All RedTail spotters feature high index BaK-4 prisms and high-quality, precision ground lenses that are coated with multiple layers of anti-reflection coatings to provide optical performance that is equal to, or better than any spotting scope in its class.

Polycarbonate construction - All RedTail spotting scopes are manufactured from lightweight polycarbonate which reduces overall weight and makes them extremely rugged and durable.

Rubber armor covered - A rugged rubber armor covering quiets down those bumps and protects your RedTail spotting scope from abrasions and damage from regular use.

Waterproof, Fogproof & Nitrogen Purged - All RedTail Series spotting scopes are waterproof, fogproof, and nitrogen purged to ensure many years of performance regardless of the environment.

Built-In Sliding Sunshade - Each RedTail spotting scope features a sliding sunshade that is built-in to the objective lens of the scope to further reduce glare.

Accessories - All RedTail spotting scopes come standard with the following high-quality accessories: hard aluminum case, soft case, tripod, and tripod case.
