Designed and manufactured to exacting standards, Meade Series 4000 Super Plossl eyepieces deliver wide 52 Degree apparent fields of view (44 Degrees for the SP40mm) with all of the resolution, edge-of-field sharpness and color correction demanded in the most advanced visual applications. All eyepieces are multi-coated and include soft rubber eyeguards.

This package includes six, 1.25" format telescope eyepieces. Each is fully multi-coated and have a 52 Degree Apparent Field of View (44 Degree on the 40mm)

What makes this kit so great is the included Barlow lens. A barlow lens doubles the power of any eyepiece its connected to. So your included 6 eyepieces actually can deliver 12 different magnification levels!
Color Filters included
This kit includes four color filters. The filters simply thread onto the bottom of the eyepiece and allows you to bring out surface structure and details in lunar and planetary surfaces. You get a #12 Yellow, #23 Light Red, #58 Green and #80 Blue
Moon Filter Included
You also get a Meade #ND96 Neutral Density Moon Filter to allow comfortable viewing on the moon. Think of it like a pair of sunglasses for your telescope. The moon can be so bright in a telescope that without filters it can be uncomfortable to view. Also it will substantially bring out more detail and contrast of lunar surfaces.

All of the accessories come in a locking hard carrying case with foam interior with holes specifically cut to fit the accessories and keep them from moving around during travel.
