Frequently Asked Questions

1 - 2 of 2

Q1: Would this make a good pair of general "all" purpose binoculars?

A: Being a compact binocular is what will mwke these a perfect binocular for all different uses.

Q2: NEEDED FOR FOOTBALL GAMES. LARGE STADIUM, UPPER DECK. AGE 61, GLASSES NOT NEEDED FOR DISTANCES. THANKS,

A: For watching sports it's best to have a larger objective lens than 25mm. It will give you a much larger field of view, making it easier to follow action on the field. Nikon Monarch 8x42 ATB binoculars are a great choice. They combine crystal-clear, 8X optics with a nice, wide, 330-foot field of view at 1,000 yards. They're also light and not overlarge. They'll do a great job at the game. Here's the URL; just paste it into your browser's address window: http://binoculars.com/products/nikon-8x42-monarch-atb-169.html.

Clamber over rocky terrain and splash through shallow streams with the Leupold® 10x 25mm Olympic™ Binoculars. These binoculars are not only small and lightweight, but they are also tough, waterproof, and wilderness-ready. Well-designed and built solid, they are 100 percent waterproof in any condition, with bright, sharp pictures.

In rough terrain or on extended hunts, size and weight are a concern - but you also don't want to miss a trophy because of optics that are not up to the task. These Leupold Olympic binoculars solve both problems. They offer a crisp, bright sight picture, twist-up eyecups, and long eye relief. They feature a rain shed, rugged construction, and shock-absorbing rubber armor.

These phase-coated, roof-prism, center-focus binoculars also feature multi-coated lenses for brightness and clarity, and the ergonomically designed body fits well in any size of hands. Limited lifetime warranty.

From humble immigrant beginnings, Leupold grew, based on a promise of quality, to become a classic American company. In 1907, Fred Leupold set up a one-man shop at 5th and Oak streets in Portland, Ore., to repair surveying equipment. He was joined by his brother-in-law, Adam Voelpel, and later by inventor John Cyprian Stevens, and the foundations for a century of success were in place.

During Leupold's second half-century, the company has focused heavily on the sports optics business. Leupold's presence in the hunting and shooting market expands, and finally dominates, with innovative optics and features that are now legendary among hunters, shooters, and outdoors enthusiasts. Many of the industry's standards - nitrogen waterproofing, the Duplex® reticle, and more - are Leupold creations.
