A: This is an excellent scope for more general use. i would suggest something more along the lines of an 8x40 as it will have a more stable image and offer a wider field of view.

A: Yes actually they will ship to Mexico. As for timeframe that is a whole different matter. it can be as quick as 4-5 days or sometimes as long as 4 weeks. We claim no responsibility for anything shipped through the USPS as we cannot track the item like we can with FedEx.

Q4: Are these binoculars of good enough quality for hunting purposes?

A: They will be OK for hunting But for that purpose specifically I suggest getting a fixed power as it will be etter optically, something like the bushnell H2O 10x42's

A: No, these are actually a full size binocular. The easiest way to tell if it is a compact binocular is the number after the X (10-30x50) is the diameter of the objective lens 28 or smaller is considered a compact.

A: The UpClose 10-30x50 Zoom Binoculars at max magnification will make objects appear as though they are only 1/30th as far away as they actually are. Hence, at 2 miles' distance, your view would be as though it were only from 352 feet away. If you can read the numbers you need to at that distance with the unaided eye, then the UpClose binoculars will work just fine. If not, you'll have to increase magnification. At 200X magnification, you'll be able to see house numbers as though they were only about 50 feet away. But that magnification level requires a high-power spotting scope like the Meade ETX-125. It has great, Maksutov-Cassegrain optics, the same as the ETX celestial telescopes do. And it comes with three eyepieces offering a range of magnification levels up to nearly 200X.
