The Good : Not too expensive, easy to focus below 100 X zoom, clear image.

Not So Good : Hard to focus at 140 power for some reason ( even with tripod) Keep in mind viewing the night sky with any binoculars removes all color. I wish someone would have told me that.

I use these spotting deer, eagles, and girls
I love them cause they bring everything into your space.
heavy for older weaker people and not for spotting moving birds with out a tripod. some kind of tripod or bipod or support is needed for long time use. I am 6'2" 210 lbs not too much problem.

This item was purchased for my husband to use at our mountain home in Gatlinburg, TN. From the deck of our cabin, you can see the streets of downtown and these binoculars allow close up viewing of all the activity. Also, these binoculars are nice for viewing the mountain terrain and points of interest such as Clingman's Dome. Our only problem was the zoom mechanism sticks. We are returning them and will order another set after receiving our refund.
